We are working on a new website and hope to launch it live soon. 

We have updated a few websites:

Reflections on the last year of our Web Studio – part 1

 Hi folks, it has been a while again... the reason for that was #lockdown and lack of proper mood due to deficiency of work. 

Due to #covid19 and lockdown we lost two clients last year: one decided to retire earlier (he has no orders as well), second client decided to use grand with local company (understandable and fair enough). 

However, once lockdown restrictions were eased during the year, we have done some small and bigger projects (just two of them in entire year – so this is a huge covid-19 impact), and here it is an update from April 2020 to April 2021. 

1. Firstly, we updated VUE Window Blind website. This is family run, Glasgow based company, and they offer two new types of blinds such as: 
• First one is on a huge demand now, since it helps shops, pharmacies, offices to protect customers and employees from the spread of #Covid19. Yes the blind is called: Covid-19 Roller Screen and it is transparent roller blind – see on the website how it works. 
• The second is luxury blind which I personally like and it is Allusion® Blinds from Louvolite. There are two luxury ranges Horizon and Vista available with a choice of colours in each. Just take a look how lovely they are! I think these will be my choice next time.

2. In July updated the VIEWBANK GUEST HOUSE website, so what’s new:
• The most IMPORTANT news is that they were good to open back then
• So, read the Covid-19 page (new page) for safety measurements
• Some rooms are redecorated – so galleries and pages are updated
• NEW Self Catering Cottage to book – new page (information, photos, tariffs etc.)

3. 1st Pass Driving School reassumed lessons so, we updated testimonial page. The pupils were passed successfully they driving tests, so it was plenty to update. It shows how good the instructor is!

4. Yaaay :) Yes we redesigned own website! We have never had enough time for this, so maybe the lockdown made us a favour in this case. Our new own website is looking good, as we think, and some users have mentioned that to us too.

We switched the roles, I was my client - client (about window blinds) - part 2

As promised in the last post, today I write a bit about venetian and roller blinds fitted at my home. As you know my windows frames have changed due to windows replacement, and therefore some of the window blinds could not fit. As I wrote before Barry from VUE Window Blinds in Glasgow came to the rescue and made some tricks to make the blinds fit. He managed to fit another two: one roller blind (subtle yellow) and one venetian blind (glossy white).

The roller blind is made from quality material with very subtle pattern. I was so happy with VUE Window Blinds services that I ordered two more window blinds for the kitchen's windows. The slats are glossy and the almond colour matches my other kitchen utensils.

I wish I can make better photos, but due to lack of the proper light and more over scaffolding erected around my building is difficult to do so. Unfortunately I am not professional photographer :(

Hi folks, long time no see. Truly sorry about that but I was very busy. Firstly because I move from one place to another, so renovation and redecorations took place, secondly because I have been working on websites updates, new websites, redesigns, and SEO and social media services on daily basis.

So, today I want to share something probably more personal. Redecoration of my new premises took a lot of time and effort, but because I always support my clients and small local businesses I ordered some products and services from them.

Today I want to write about Barry from VUE Window Blinds in Glasgow. Yes, he is my client, and in this case the roles were switched, so I was his client. I ordered window blinds for all my windows. But today I want to write about two most important – quality, patterned vertical window blinds.

These two were fitted in master bedroom and living room. Firstly, I need to tell you that Home Shop Service is great. Barry took his all samples, so I have had a possibility to choose proper type of blinds, material, colour that matches my overall room design and patterns. I took my time; asked a lot of questions, simply because my knowledge about window blinds is limited. Barry advised me wisely.

He measured the windows, told me the price, I agreed and we proceeded. Once the blinds were ready to fit, Barry contacted me and we arranged day and time for fitting the blinds. I was very happy, since the blinds are in good quality, in proper colours and added extra stamps to these rooms.

So, I choose salmon one for bedroom and grey for living room, since the colours matches the overall designs, or colour of the walls; see photos.
I am sorry for quality of my photos, since I am not professional photographer, so because of sunny day in Scotland (! yes I know is rare !), the colours of the blinds on the photos do not reflect the real colours.

However, some of you know, that after wee while, my windows needed to be replaced – I truly haven’t had any influence on that, and did not know earlier. So, I start to worry: if my brand new quality blinds will fit new windows and frames? I asked politely the person who came to measure the windows and frames to match the sizes as much as possible. Unfortunately, no one listened:(

I called Barry; he came to the rescue, truly! He used all the tricks to save my blinds and my money. He skipped the clips, he cut some hooks, and the bedroom blinds is working just fine. The living room blinds needed new rail, and the same tricks. But as you may see I saved a lot and do not need to order new window blinds.

So, quality of window blinds, and quality of services are astonishing. I truly and deeply recommend VUE Window Blinds in Glasgow, not because they are my clients, but because I personally used their products and services and I cannot be happier about it. I am not surprise that Barry achieves so many nice reviews on his Facebook business page. He approaches his clients individually with all care their needs.

EN: As I’ve promised earlier, there will be more photos from Belfast here. I’ve been in Belfast just one day, and sightseeing was not a major reason of visiting Belfast. Therefore, I have visited all these places on my way, here & there...
Anyway, I have found that Belfast got the character. Many creative people live there that design e.g. the town graffiti. Most of these designs are very impressive, some less, but overall they are fitting into the character of the town.
I have found the nice wall arts in Belfast Cathedral – the Church of St Anne. These wall arts are very impressive. I have not too much time to found out how the painting were done, but maybe you can find it by yourselves or by visiting their website here >
There are beautiful paintings in Town Hall of the Belfast, close to the dome, one of them you may see at the photo below. Anyway, Belfast is the town worth to visit for a lot different aspects. There is something for everyone.

PL: Jak obiecałam wcześniej, zamieszczam więcej zdjęć z Belfastu. Byłam w Belfaście tylko jeden dzień i zwiedzanie nie było głównym powodem wizyty, więc odwiedziłam wszystkie te miejsca po drodze, tu i tam...
W każdym razie, odkryłam podczas tej wizyty, że Belfast ma charakter. Wielu kreatywnych ludzi tam mieszka, co widać choćby po miejskim graffiti. Większość z tych projektów jest bardzo imponująca, niektóre są mniej ciekawe, ale ogólnie dopasowują się one do charakteru miasta.
Ładne malowidła ścienne znalazłam w katedrze – kościół św. Anny. Są one przepiękne. Nie miałam zbyt dużo czasu, aby dowiedzieć się więcej na temat tych malowideł, ale może sami się wybierzecie i dowiecie. Możecie też odwiedzić ich stronę internetową tutaj>
Widziałam też ładne malowidła w ratuszu miasta, u podnóża kopuły, jedno z nich można zobaczyć na zdjęciu poniżej.
W każdym razie, Belfast jest miastem, które warto odwiedzić z wielu powodów, albowiem każdy znajdzie tam coś dla siebie.

Twisted Willow Bespoke Florist – grand opening event! | Wielkie otwarcie kwiaciarni Twisted Willow!

EN: Yes, Twisted Willow – Bespoke Florist has moved in to Kilbarchan to new premises. Now they have much more space to expose the beautiful flowers, bouquets, items to hire (for weddings or other events), cushions, jewellery, pottery, and even more flowers:)

There is a bride's room, where you can see all items to hire such as floor & table candelabras, wedding arch, bird cages, chair covers etc. Future brides can sit down and discuss with Caroline all the details surrounded by these lovely stuff.

On 21st of May the grand opening was held in the new premises, so everybody could see all the goods available to purchase or hire. Caroline cared about fantastic atmosphere and each person received a goody bag from her. The grand opening was a huge success. A lot of people came to see a brand new business that moved in to Kilbarchan.

PL: Tak, Kwiaciarnia –Twisted Willow  przeniosła się do nowej siedziby w Kilbarchan. Teraz mają dużo więcej miejsca, aby wyeksponować piękne kwiaty, bukiety, przedmioty do wynajęcia (na wesela lub inne imprezy), poduszki, biżuterię, ceramikę i jeszcze więcej kwiatów :)

Jest tam pokój panny młodej, gdzie wystawione są wszystkie rzeczy możliwe do wynajęcia, aby udekorować przyjęcie weselne, takie jak kandelabry (na podłogi i stoły), łuk ślubny, klatki dla ptaków, pokrycia krzeseł itp. Przyszłe panny młode mogą usiąść i przedyskutować z Caroline wszystkie szczegóły, otoczone tymi pięknymi rzeczami.

W dniu 21 maja odbyło się uroczyste otwarcie w nowej siedzibie, więc każdy mógł przyjść i  zobaczyć wszystkie dostępne do zakupu lub wynajmu produkty. Caroline zadbała o fantastyczną atmosferę i każdy otrzymał od niej torebkę promocyjną. Uroczyste otwarcie było więc wielkim sukcesem. Wiele osób przyszło zobaczyć nową kwiaciarnię w Kilbarchan.
