Brand New Website Has Been Launched | News & Offers

A quick update: what is going on in Web Studio 'Marita'? Lately we have been busy; one website is designed & has been launched lately. The brand new website was designed for an animal artist (horse & dog painter) that stays in Fife (Scotland) – Vincent Butler. Vincent’s website contains his paintings gallery, and all necessarily details to contact him.

The website was already promoted via HTML email campaign that we also created & sent recently.

It’s happening a lot in Web Studio ‘Marita’ lately. Two email campaigns have been sent last week. Both have promoted local businesses.

Today, I want to write about two creative companies also based locally.

First one is Ferguson Imaging – a commercial photography studio in Glasgow area. Murdoch Ferguson is the founder of Ferguson Imaging (established 20 years ago) and the photographer.

Ostatnio pisałam o lokalnej firmie: FRL – Property Maintenance, a dziś piszę o kolejnych dwóch, tym razem, kreatywnych firmach na rynku lokalnym. Jedną z nich jest studio fotografii Ferguson Imaging, a drugą Thistle Displays specjalizująca się projektowaniem i drukiem wielkoformatowym. Obie firmy zajmują się czymś innym, ale nie wyklucza to pomiędzy nimi współpracy, gdyż zdjęcia zrobione przez Ferguson Imaging, mogą być wykorzystane w grafikach Thistle Displays i wydrukowane na przykład na banerze, a efekt takiej współpracy może być zadziwiający.

The biggest busines event in Glasgow...

Hi folks, today I want to write a few words about exhibition that took place lately in Glasgow SECC (Scotland). The Scottish Business Exhibition is one of the largest exhibitions in the region, and I  attended this event.

A lot of businesses were presented at this exhibition, and most of them were well prepared for it. What I mean by that? Well, they have designed & printed exhibition stands (a wide range of styles), pop up or roll up banners, posters etc. They also had a sufficient number of leaflets & brochures to give them away to catch the potential clients or co-operators attention. Some of the companies were also handing out printed corporate gadgets.


Visitors had an opportunity to attend the seminars, and improve the skill regarding all the business aspects.

I took some photos, not too much though, since I was occupied & attend some seminars. The quality of these photos is not good, since I’m not professional photographer, but they give you an idea about the event.

By the way, I can also recommend commercial photographer from Glasgow area – Ferguson Imaging, so next time, Murdoch can take the photos of the event, and you can use them for your business marketing, or before the event use the corporate photos to design & print leaflets or brochures.

I think that it is always good to attend this kind of event, and expand our horizons, or conclude cooperation with another firm.

Belfast - city full of clocks | Belfast - miasto pełne zagarów

EN: I’ve been recently in Belfast, for the first time, and as usual in such situation, I become a photographer:)  Curently anyone can think of yourself as ‘photographer’ since digital cameras are installed in all mobile devices. However, to be brutally honest, we are just amateurs, professional photographers must to have knowledge & gained skills in conjunction with years of experience. I personaly know a commercial photographer in Glasgow: Murdoch Ferguson.

Anyway, I’ve just wanted to point out some of insights from the trip to Belfast. This is - without a doubt - a  beautiful town, with lots of character. The architecture reminds me a little bit of Glasgow architecture, but I think that taking into account the history, there is nothing surprising in this.

Belfast is a very interesting city. I’ve never seen so many clocks in the town centre. I was surrounded by the clocks – they are everywhere, on buildings, towers, monuments. I do not know whether the Irish pay so much attention to the time or not, but it for sure caught my attention. Therefore, I present my ‘clocks journey’ on the photograps.

PL: Byłam ostatnio w Belfaście, po raz pierwszy, i jak zwykle w takiej sytuacji, stałam się fotografem :) Obecnie każdy może myśleć o sobie, jako o "fotografie", ponieważ kamery cyfrowe są zainstalowane we wszystkich urządzeniach przenośnych. Jednak, brutalna prawda jest taka, że jesteśmy tylko amatorami, albowiem zawodowi fotografowie muszą mieć wiedzę i zdobyte umiejętności w połączeniu z wieloletnim doświadczeniem. Osobiście znam fotografa komercyjnego w Glasgow i jest nim Murdoch Ferguson.

Ale nie o tym chciałam pisać. Chciałem zwrócić uwagę na kilka spostrzeżeń z podróży do Belfastu. To jest - bez wątpienia - piękne miasto, z charakterem. Architektura przypomina mi trochę architekturę Glasgow, ale biorąc pod uwagę fakty historyczne, nie ma w tym nic dziwnego.

Belfast jest bardzo ciekawym miastem. Nigdy nie widziałem tak wielu zegarów w centrum miasta. Byłam wręcz nimi otoczona – są wszędzie: na budynkach, wieżach, zabytkach. Nie wiem, czy Irlandczycy zwracają szczególną uwagę na czas, czy też nie, ale ta ilość zegarów zdecydowanie przykuła moją uwagę. Dlatego przedstawiam moją „zegarową podróż” na poniższych fotografiach.
